"Thaumatrope"
Our perception of the world around us changes over time. My feeling about a photo I made some years ago has changed according to my senses and experiences.
This feeling can have similarities and differences with the perception I had for the same photo. I am searching for similarities and differences in the new images I made.
The technique I use to present my work is a game that most of us used to play as a kid, making a new image by synthesizing two photos.
I made suitable clay bases to hold and rotate the thin stick attached to the photos by the palm and fingers. Two different but related photos are on each side; twisting them creates a new vision of their combination.
Visitors should rotate the photos to see the new images.
